iOtomates Wash by Geerho Tech LLC Terms of Service

Effective date: October 27, 2026. Version 2.3.

These Terms are an agreement between you and Geerho Tech LLC, which owns and operates iOtomates Wash by Geerho Tech LLC, formerly Klean ("iOtomates Wash", "we", "us"), 2108 N St, Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816, USA. They apply to the iOtomates Wash apps for iOS and Android, the iOtomates Wash web app, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use iOtomates Wash

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding contract.

1.2 One person, one account. Each person may hold only one iOtomates Wash account. That one account is used for every role you have on iOtomates Wash: customer, staff member, business owner. Creating or using a second account, sharing an account, or using someone else's account is prohibited. We may merge, suspend or close duplicate accounts.

1.3 Identity verification is required for everyone. Before using iOtomates Wash you must verify your identity through our verification provider, Didit, using a valid government-issued ID and a live selfie. There are no exemptions, including for staff, business owners and iOtomates Wash's own personnel.

1.4 Verification is free. iOtomates Wash currently pays for the identity check, so verifying costs you nothing. If we introduce a fee for future attempts, we'll show the price before you pay (in the iPhone and Android apps as an in-app purchase through Apple or Google; on wash.iotomates.com by card, GCash, Maya or QR Ph), and it won't apply to verifications already completed: once you're verified, you stay verified. Resuming an unfinished attempt is always free.

2. Your account

2.1 You sign in with Apple, Google or GitHub. You're responsible for keeping those accounts secure and for all activity under your iOtomates Wash account.

2.2 Your member code is a public identifier you may share so that a business can hire you or credit points to you. It can't be used to sign in or make payments.

2.3 You may delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account). Deletion is permanent. Unused points and load credits are forfeited. We keep records we're legally required to keep, as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Using laundromats on iOtomates Wash (customers)

3.1 Operators. Laundromats, carwashes and motorcycle washes on iOtomates Wash are run by independent businesses ("Operators"). Each Operator sets its own prices, operates its own premises, machines and wash bays, and is responsible for its services. iOtomates Wash provides the software and payment processing; iOtomates Wash is not the laundromat or the carwash. In these Terms, "laundromat" and "machine" also cover carwashes, motorcycle washes and wash bays where that makes sense.

3.1a Self-service wash bays. At a self-service carwash or motorcycle wash bay you pay for time: a block of minutes at the price the Operator sets (for example ₱50 for 5 minutes), up to 12 blocks at a time. The bay starts only when you start it, and runs for the minutes you paid for; Add time while it runs buys more. Unused minutes aren't refunded once the bay has started, and time can't be moved to another bay. Use the bay safely and as the Operator's signs say; the Operator is responsible for the bay, its water and chemicals, and your vehicle's safety on its premises.

3.1b Full-service washes. When an Operator's staff wash your car or motorcycle, you choose a service from its menu, priced by vehicle size, and pay at the counter (cash or a payment page). The Operator may record your plate number to find your vehicle. If you give your member code, iOtomates Wash tells you when it's done.

3.2 Payment before use. A machine is activated only after your payment is confirmed by the payment provider (or, when you pay cash at a laundromat's counter, after the attendant records your cash payment in iOtomates Wash), and it starts only when you start it (in the app or with the machine's Start button); make sure your laundry is inside and the door is closed first. Prices are shown before you pay. One "load" means one wash and one dry, up to the Operator's maximum weight, unless you choose wash only or dry only where the Operator offers them; then a load is that one service. You may pay for several loads at once (up to five, and no more than the branch's washers); the machine you scanned is activated and the other loads are kept as load credits (3.3). Where a laundromat has a iOtomates Wash Scale, the weight it reports is used for your loads; check the number before you pay.

3.2a Receipts. Every paid order has an iOtomates Wash receipt in the app (Account → Receipts) and on wash.iotomates.com, which you can share, print or save as PDF. It records the payment but is not a BIR official receipt; ask the laundromat if you need one (issuing official receipts is the laundromat's job, 4.4).

3.3 Load credits. Extra loads you paid for, saved dries, and loads whose machine couldn't be activated are kept as credits in your wallet, usable on any available machine of the same Operator. Load credits expire 30 days after purchase and have no cash value.

3.4 Points. Operators may offer loyalty points ("iOtomates Wash Points"). Points are earned and redeemable only with the Operator where they were earned (at any of its branches). They have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, expire as shown in the app (currently 12 months after they're earned), and may be reversed if the underlying payment is refunded or was fraudulent. Each Operator sets and funds its own program and may change it for the future; points already earned keep their value until they expire. If an Operator closes its business on iOtomates Wash, its points and free loads end; paid loads must be used or refunded before it can close (4.8).

3.5 Problems with a wash. Report machine problems to the Operator's staff. iOtomates Wash returns credits automatically when a machine fails to start after payment. Questions about laundry quality, damage or lost items are between you and the Operator.

4. Running a laundromat, carwash or motorcycle wash on iOtomates Wash (Operators)

4.1 Operator mode. A verified user may create an Operator account and becomes its Super Admin. You must have authority to bind the business you register. You choose what the business offers (laundromat, self-service and/or full-service carwash, self-service motorcycle wash) and can change it later. You're responsible for your wash bays' equipment, water and chemicals, drainage and environmental permits, signage, and for safety on your premises.

4.2 Payments and payouts. You appoint iOtomates Wash as your limited agent to collect payments from customers for laundry services at your business. A customer's payment to iOtomates Wash counts as payment to you. Customers pay iOtomates Wash through its payment partners (PayMongo for businesses in the Philippines, Stripe elsewhere), and iOtomates Wash pays your business its share automatically, normally once a day, to the payout account you set up (in the Philippines, a GCash, Maya or bank account in the Super Admin's verified name, or a bank account in the business's registered name once iOtomates Wash has checked its DTI, SEC or CDA registration; elsewhere, a Stripe account whose onboarding you complete). You confirm that the business registration you submit is genuine and that you're authorised to receive payments for it. Payouts below a minimum amount roll over to the next day. You may not accept payments for iOtomates Wash-connected machines outside the Service, or bypass the Service to activate machines.

4.3 Commission. For each payment processed through the Service, iOtomates Wash charges a commission at the rate shown in your dashboard (currently 5% of the amount paid). The commission is kept automatically by iOtomates Wash; your payout is the amount paid less the commission, the payment partner's processing fees, and any payout transfer fee (currently ₱10 per payout in the Philippines). Only iOtomates Wash can set or change the commission rate. Each transaction is charged at the rate in effect when the checkout was opened. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any increase. Free loads redeemed with points, and welcome loads you choose to offer new members, carry no commission. Cash sales recorded at your counter carry the same commission. iOtomates Wash doesn't hold that cash, so the commission on cash sales is deducted from your next payout of digital payments. You can also pay it online at any time (Business → Sales → Commission on cash sales). If any of it stays unpaid for 30 days, recording new cash sales is paused until it's paid; digital payments keep working. We remind you 7 days before. Downloading and setting up iOtomates Wash is free; there's no subscription fee.

4.4 Your obligations. You're responsible for: your prices; keeping machines safe and in working order; honoring load credits and points issued by your business; issuing official receipts and paying taxes as required by law (in the Philippines, including BIR requirements); handling customer complaints about your services; and your staff's conduct.

4.4a Machine controllers. If you connect machines to iOtomates Wash with a controller (bought or self-built from our hardware guide), you're responsible for installing it safely and lawfully, including having a licensed electrician do any work on electrical supply, and for any effect on your machines' warranties. The hardware guide and controller software are provided as-is, as guidance. Keep controller files private: anyone with a machine's secret key can act as that machine. iOtomates Wash HQ's simulated machines are for testing; don't take real customers' payments on a simulated machine. iOtomates Wash never starts a machine by itself: a cycle starts only when the customer starts it (in the app or with the machine's own Start button); don't wire or configure a controller to start a machine without that. Lock the NFC stickers you put on machines, so nobody can rewrite them.

4.4e Cash at the counter. Cash a customer hands over at your counter must be recorded in iOtomates Wash as a counter order ("Paid in cash") before the machines are used; that's the only way a cash load gets a machine. iOtomates Wash records who took each cash payment and when, and shows the business its cash taken per person and branch. iOtomates Wash doesn't hold, count or guarantee cash; matching the cash drawer to iOtomates Wash's records, and any shortfall, is the business's responsibility. Staff can record an end-of-shift cash count; iOtomates Wash compares it with the cash recorded under their name and tells the Super Admins about any difference. A difference is information for the business, not a finding by iOtomates Wash about anyone.

4.4g Supplies and maintenance. Supply levels, low-stock reminders, maintenance tasks and reminders are tools to help you; iOtomates Wash doesn't check supplies or machines. Keeping machines safe, maintained and in working order stays your responsibility (4.4), whatever the reminders say.

4.4f Expenses. Super Admins can log the business's expenses in iOtomates Wash, with an optional photo or PDF of the receipt, to see its profit. These are the business's own records; iOtomates Wash doesn't check them, and they aren't tax filings or official receipts.

4.4b Beta mode. Every business starts in Beta. In Beta, payments use test money only (no real money is charged or paid out), simulated machines may be used, and the Super Admin can delete the business's beta orders, test customers and points at any time. To take real payments you must switch Beta off, which requires iOtomates Wash to be accepting real payments, a payout account, and at least one real machine connected with an iOtomates Wash controller. Switching Beta off deletes all beta data. Real sales records can't be deleted (see the Privacy Policy on retention).

4.5 Staff. You may grant staff access only to verified iOtomates Wash users, by their member code. You're responsible for removing access when someone stops working for you.

4.6 Customer data. You may use customer information shown in your dashboard only to operate your laundromat and in line with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. You may not export it for unrelated marketing, sell it, or attempt to identify customers beyond what the Service shows.

4.7 Suspension. We may suspend an Operator's ability to take payments for fraud, unresolved disputes, legal requirements, or material breach of these Terms, with notice where the law and circumstances allow.

4.4c Branches. The branch details you enter (name, address, map location, phone and email) are shown to customers. Deleting a branch needs iOtomates Wash's approval; a branch that has had sales is closed instead of deleted, and its records are kept. Machines that have been used are retired instead of deleted, for the same reason.

4.4d iOtomates Wash Scale. If you connect an iOtomates Wash Scale, customers' loads are worked out from the weight it reports. You're responsible for the scale being accurate and, where the law requires it (in the Philippines, testing and sealing by your city or municipal treasurer under the Consumer Act), certified for trade. If you turn on Require the scale, customers can't type a weight in Start laundry at your business. Keep the scale's secret private, as with controllers (4.4a).

4.8 Closing your business. A Super Admin can delete or close the business at any time (Business → Setup, or wash.iotomates.com). A business still in Beta is deleted completely. A business that has taken real payments is closed: its machines stop, its staff lose access, and it's removed from iOtomates Wash, while payment and tax records are kept as the law requires. Closing is possible once no customer holds unused paid loads at the business, its last payout has been made, and no payment is in progress. Customers' points and free loads at a closed business end.

5. The Service requires an internet connection

The Service works only online. Payments, machine activation and records require a live connection. When your device is offline the app is locked until it reconnects. iOtomates Wash isn't responsible for losses caused by your internet connection or your premises' network.

If a laundromat's own internet is down but your phone is online (for example on mobile data), you can still pay in the app, and for machines set up for it, the app sends your paid credit and your Start to the machine over Bluetooth. A credit sent this way is used once the machine has it; if the machine never received it, the credit is returned to you after the machine is back online.

6. Acceptable use

You must not: create multiple accounts or help others do so; submit false identity information; tamper with machines, controllers or QR codes; attempt to obtain wash cycles without paying; reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the Service; misuse other users' data; or use the Service for anything illegal.

6.1 Messages and announcements. Messages between customers and a laundromat's staff, and Operators' announcements, must be about laundry and the laundromat. No harassment, threats, hate, spam, scams, sexual content, or requests for passwords, card numbers or ID numbers. Operators may announce only to their own customers and only about their business. Anyone can report a message; iOtomates Wash may remove messages and suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Fees, refunds and chargebacks

Our Return & Refund Policy explains these rules in short.

7.1 Laundry payments are made to the Operator through iOtomates Wash. Refund requests for laundry services go to the Operator (message them in the app, or ask an attendant), who decides in line with law and their policies. iOtomates Wash may issue refunds where the Service itself failed (e.g. a double charge).

7.2 How refunds work. An Operator can refund some or all loads of a paid order within 90 days of payment. The money goes back to the payment method you used, through our payment partners (GCash and Maya usually within a few days, cards up to about two weeks, depending on your bank). The refunded loads' unused washes and dries are cancelled, and the points that payment earned are taken back in proportion. If you paid cash at the counter, the refund is handed back in cash by the laundromat. Refunds of Beta (test) payments move only test money.

7.3 Operators and refunds. A refund (less iOtomates Wash's commission on it, which iOtomates Wash returns) is deducted from the Operator's next payout. A cash refund is handed back by the Operator from its own cash; iOtomates Wash returns its commission on it in the next payout. The payment processor's fee on the original payment isn't returned by the processor and isn't refunded to the Operator. If a payment is charged back, related points and credits may be reversed in the same way.

7.4 Chargebacks. If a customer disputes a payment with their bank or card issuer, iOtomates Wash tells the Operator, who should send iOtomates Wash any evidence (photos, messages, the machine's start and finish times) within 5 days; iOtomates Wash answers the bank as the payment account holder. If the bank decides for the customer, the disputed order is treated as a full refund of the loads not yet refunded: its unused washes and dries are cancelled, its points are taken back, iOtomates Wash returns its commission on it, and the amount is deducted from the Operator's next payout. If the bank decides for the Operator, nothing changes. A customer who wins a chargeback isn't refunded a second time.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features, and we may require you to update the app to keep using the Service (older versions may stop working, for example after a security or payment change). We may update these Terms; if a change is material, we'll notify you in the app at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the change.

9. Liability

9.1 To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is". iOtomates Wash isn't liable for the laundry services of Operators, for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

9.2 To the extent permitted by law, iOtomates Wash's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to iOtomates Wash in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) ₱5,000.

9.3 Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law (including the Consumer Act of the Philippines and the Internet Transactions Act, RA 11967) that can't be limited by contract.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using iOtomates Wash and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account for breach of these Terms, fraud, legal requirements, or to protect other users, with notice where appropriate.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will first be discussed in good faith; failing that, they will be brought before the courts of Quezon City, Philippines, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have to bring a claim where you live.

12. App Store and Google Play

12.1 These Terms are between you and iOtomates Wash only, not Apple or Google. iOtomates Wash, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app and its content, maintenance, support, and any claims about it (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and consumer-protection claims).

12.2 Your licence to use the iOS app is a limited, non-transferable licence to use it on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

12.3 If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app (if any); to the fullest extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.

12.4 If anyone claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, iOtomates Wash, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.

12.5 You represent that you aren't located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and aren't on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

12.6 Apple and its subsidiaries, and Google, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms for the app you downloaded from them, and may enforce these Terms against you.

12.7 In-app purchases are also subject to the App Store's or Google Play's terms and payment policies.
