Welcome to iOtomates Wash by Geerho Tech LLC. This guide covers everything you need as a customer: signing up, washing, paying, and earning free loads. iOtomates Wash works on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and in your web browser.

Getting started

Open iOtomates Wash and choose Continue with Apple, Continue with Google, or Continue with GitHub.

iOtomates Wash is one person, one account. If you've used iOtomates Wash before, sign in the same way you did then. You can add other sign-in methods later in Account → Sign-in methods.

2. Verify your identity

Everyone on iOtomates Wash verifies once: customers, staff and owners alike. It keeps accounts real and stops points abuse.

Verification is free: iOtomates Wash pays for the identity check. In a web browser you can also verify at wash.iotomates.com/account.html.
Tap Start verification and follow the steps: hold a valid ID in front of the camera, then look at the camera for a quick selfie. There's no button to press: each photo is taken automatically once it's steady. For a quick check, use good light without glare, lay your ID flat on a dark surface, and remove glasses, hats and masks for the selfie.
Most people are approved within a minute or two. After the last step the app shows Checking your verification…: keep iOtomates Wash open and don't start again. Some checks take up to a day; we'll let you know.

Good to know:

If you close the verification window before finishing, tap Continue verification to reopen it.
Use a valid, unexpired ID, in good light, with nothing covering your face.
We don't keep a copy of your ID. Our verification partner, Didit, handles the images.
If we find you already have an iOtomates Wash account, tap Use my existing account to continue with it.
Once you're verified, you stay verified.

Washing and drying

Find a laundromat near you

Tap Laundromats near you on Home (or Find a laundromat on wash.iotomates.com). Allow location and iOtomates Wash shows the nearest laundromats on a map and in a list, with how many washers and dryers are free right now, the price, and Directions. Your location is only used to sort the list; iOtomates Wash doesn't store it.

Self-service: start laundry (weigh, pay, scan)

At the laundromat, tap Start laundry on Home and choose the laundromat you're at. Choose what you need: Wash + dry, Wash only or Dry only (each laundromat sets its prices; Start laundry shows them).
Weigh your dirty laundry on the laundromat's scale and enter the kilos (or choose the number of loads). iOtomates Wash works out the loads: for example 9 kg with an 8 kg limit is 2 loads. If the laundromat has a iOtomates Wash Scale, put your laundry on it, wait for the number to settle, and tap Use the iOtomates Wash Scale: the kilos fill in by themselves (use it within 2 minutes; each weighing counts once). Where the laundromat requires the scale, that's the only way.
Pay once. The scanner opens: scan a free washer, load your laundry and close the door, then tap Start wash on Home (or press Start on the machine). Machines never start by themselves. iOtomates Wash goes back to Home, which shows what's still paid; tap Scan a washer for the next load.
When a wash is done you get a notification: move the clothes to a free dryer, tap Scan a dryer, scan it, then tap Start dry (or press Start on the dryer). You're notified again when the dry is done.

Beta laundromats: if Start laundry or the pay screen shows Test payment: no real money, that laundromat is still testing iOtomates Wash. Nothing is charged; use the test options on the payment page.

Self-service: scan a machine first

Go to a machine that isn't running.
Tap Scan, and point your camera at the QR code on the machine.
Scanned a washer? Choose Wash + dry or Wash only. Scanned a dryer with nothing saved? It's Dry only. Scanned a dryer but you only have washes paid? iOtomates Wash asks if you're sure; Back if you meant a washer. Choose how many loads (up to 5) and pay once. The machine is held for you for about 10 minutes while you pay.
When payment clears, the machine is ready (its light turns white). Load your laundry, close the door, then tap Start wash / Start dry on Home and confirm, or press Start on the machine. A machine never starts by itself.
Chose wash + dry? Your dry is saved in your wallet. When the wash is done, scan any free dryer at the same laundromat business. No second payment. Home shows what's paid ("Your dry is paid", or "2 washes and 3 dries paid").
Paid for more than one load? Scan the next free washer: it starts without payment. Saved loads last 30 days.

If the camera doesn't work, type the code printed under the QR. Some machines also have an NFC sticker beside the QR: just touch it with your unlocked phone and iOtomates Wash opens on that machine (iPhone: or tap Tap NFC sticker on Scan).

No app? Pay in your browser

Scan a machine's QR code with your phone's camera (or tap its NFC sticker) without the iOtomates Wash app installed, and wash.iotomates.com opens. Tap Pay in your browser, sign in with Google or GitHub, verify your ID once if you're new (about 2 minutes), then tap Pay for this machine. You get the same choices as in the app (wash + dry or wash only, how many loads) and pay with GCash, Maya or card. After paying, tap Continue on wash.iotomates.com: under Ready to start, tap Start wash (or Start dry), or press Start on the machine. iOtomates Wash remembers the machine you scanned in that browser for 2 hours, so you can sign in and verify first and still come back to it.

With an attendant

Hand your laundry to the attendant. They'll weigh it and tell you how many loads you need (one load per 8 kg, or your laundromat's limit).
Scan the payment QR on their screen with your phone and pay, or pay the attendant in cash: they record it in iOtomates Wash (and tell you your change) before your machines are assigned. In the app, Start laundry and Scan take GCash, Maya, QR Ph and cards; to pay cash, ask the attendant at the counter.
The attendant assigns your machines. Press Start when the light turns white.

To earn points on attendant-assisted visits, give the attendant the member code from Account. They'll add it to your order.

Carwash and motorcycle wash

Self-service bay: scan the bay's QR code, choose how much time (in blocks of minutes) and pay. When the bay's light turns white, tap Start bay on Home or press Start on the bay. While it runs, Home shows Add time: tap it to buy more minutes without stopping. The bay stops when your time is up. If staff are washing a car in that bay, iOtomates Wash says so; try another bay.
Full service: the attendant rings up your wash by vehicle size. Give your member code to earn points and get a message when your car or motorcycle is ready.

Receipts

Every paid visit has a receipt in Account → Receipts (and on wash.iotomates.com → Account): the laundromat, date, what you bought, how you paid (with the change, if you paid cash), points earned and any refund. Tap Share or Print or save PDF. It isn't a BIR official receipt; ask the laundromat if you need one.

Messages and announcements

Open a laundromat's page and tap Message [laundromat] to ask its staff anything; replies arrive in iOtomates Wash with a notification, and all your conversations are under Home → Messages. Laundry updates ("Your wash is done", "Your laundry is ready for pickup") arrive in that same chat: tap the notification to open it, then answer with one tap (I'm on my way, I'll pick it up later, Thank you!) or type your own reply. Announcements from laundromats you've used ("Closed Monday", "Promo on dries") appear on Home. Report a bad message: touch and hold it to select it, then tap Report.

Deleting notifications and messages

Swipe a notification (under the bell), a conversation (Messages) or a message (in a chat) to the left to delete it. Touch and hold to select several, then tap Delete, or tap Delete all. Notifications are deleted for good; messages disappear from your view only (the laundromat keeps its copy). On wash.iotomates.com: Account → Notifications or Messages → Select or Delete all.

Siri, Shortcuts and quick actions

iPhone: ask Siri "How long is left on my laundry in iOtomates Wash?", "How many washers are free at iOtomates Wash?", "Show my iOtomates Wash member code" or "Scan a machine in iOtomates Wash". They're also in the Shortcuts app and Spotlight. Android: touch and hold the iOtomates Wash icon for Scan a machine, Start laundry, Laundromats near you and My member code (Google Assistant and Gemini can open them too).

Your iOtomates Wash card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet

Account → Add to Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Save to Google Wallet (Android); on wash.iotomates.com, Account has the same buttons. Show its QR at the counter so the attendant can add points to your visit. Your points on the card update by themselves within a minute or so of earning or using them (iPhone: turn on Automatic Updates on the back of the card; it's on by default).

iOtomates Wash on your Home Screen

Add the iOtomates Wash widget: iPhone: touch and hold the Home Screen → Edit → Add Widget → iOtomates Wash (small or medium; also on the Lock Screen). Android: touch and hold the Home Screen → Widgets → iOtomates Wash. It shows your laundromat's free washers and dryers (live), your points, what's paid, and when a running machine will be done. Tap it to open iOtomates Wash.

Time left on your wash or dry

Once your machine starts, iOtomates Wash shows a countdown: on iPhone on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island ("W1 · Washing · 32:10"), on Android as a notification that stays until the cycle ends. It appears when you press Start on the machine, even if iOtomates Wash is closed, updates by itself, and shows Done when the cycle ends; you also get a notification. (iPhone: Settings → iOtomates Wash → Live Activities must be on; with iOtomates Wash closed, the countdown starts by itself on iOS 17.2 or later, otherwise it appears when you open iOtomates Wash.)

After you pay

The app tells you when your machine is ready. Press Start on the machine within a few minutes. If the machine shows an error, ask an attendant: your credit is safe.

If something goes wrong

You paid but the machine didn't start: check Home. If you see a wash credit, your money is safe. Scan any free washer at the same business and it starts without another payment.
The machine shows red after you paid: the credit goes back to your wallet automatically. Use another machine, or ask an attendant.
Load credits are valid for 30 days.
Want a refund? Message the laundromat in the app or ask an attendant; the owner decides. If they refund, you get a notification and the money goes back to how you paid (GCash/Maya usually within days, cards up to 2 weeks). Unused washes/dries for the refunded loads are cancelled and their points taken back.

Faster payments

Your name comes from your verified ID, so the payment page fills it in for you. Save your mobile number (your GCash or Maya number) in Account → Mobile number and it's filled in too. You can change or remove it any time. GCash and Maya may still ask you to log in to approve the payment; that's their own security.

You can also save your address (Account → Address). It's optional and helps iOtomates Wash Support help you with your account; laundromats don't see it.

Points and free loads

You earn points every time you pay: usually 10 points per load, plus a 10-point welcome bonus on your first paid visit to a laundromat business.
100 points = a free wash + dry (each business can set its own numbers; Home shows them).
Points belong to the business where you earned them. Points at one business work at all its branches, but not at a different business.
Claim a free load from Home → Claim free load. It's added to your wallet; scan a free washer to use it.
Points expire 12 months after you earn them. Free loads don't earn points.
Welcome load: new to iOtomates Wash? Some laundromats give brand-new members their first wash + dry free. If you verified in the last 30 days and haven't done laundry on iOtomates Wash yet, just scan a machine at a participating laundromat: it starts without payment. One welcome load per person. Verification is once for all of iOtomates Wash; you never verify again for another laundromat.

Your account

Member code (Account): a code like KLN-7H3K-Q9MP. Give it to an attendant to earn points, or to a laundromat that wants to hire you. It can't be used to sign in or pay.
Sign-in methods: link Apple, Google and GitHub to the same account.
Start a laundromat business: see the Super Admin Manual.
Delete account: Account → Delete account. This removes your personal data and forfeits unused points and credits. It can't be undone.

Internet connection

iOtomates Wash needs the internet to pay and start machines. If you lose connection, the app shows No internet connection until you're back on Wi-Fi or mobile data. A machine that's already running isn't affected.

If the laundromat's internet is down but your phone is on mobile data, pay as usual. The machine's card then shows Send by Bluetooth: stand next to the machine, turn on Bluetooth, and tap it. Then load your laundry, close the door, and tap Start. Your credit works once, on that machine only; if it never reaches the machine, you get it back once the machine is online again.
