iOtomates Wash by Geerho Tech LLC FAQ
For customers
What happened to Klean? Klean is now iOtomates Wash. Only the name changed: your account, member code, points, paid loads, receipts and the app itself stay the same, and the app updates by itself. The website is now wash.iotomates.com; links to klean.ph will forward there. Our email addresses (like support@geerho.com) still work.
Can I use iOtomates Wash at a carwash or motorcycle wash? Yes, where the business uses iOtomates Wash. At a self-service bay, scan the bay's QR code, choose how much time (blocks of minutes, e.g. ₱50 for 5 minutes), pay, then tap Start bay or press Start on the bay. Need more? Tap Add time on Home while it runs (or scan the bay again). For a full-service wash, the attendant rings it up at the counter; give your member code and iOtomates Wash tells you when your car is ready.
Why do I have to verify my ID? iOtomates Wash is one person, one account, for everyone: customers, staff and owners. Verification keeps points fair, stops fraud, and protects your wallet.
Does verification cost anything? No. Verification is free: iOtomates Wash pays for the identity check. If you close the window halfway, you can reopen it.
Do I have to verify again later? No. Once you're verified, you stay verified, even if iOtomates Wash ever adds a fee for new verifications.
Do you keep a copy of my ID? No. Our verification partner, Didit, handles the images. iOtomates Wash keeps only your verification result, your verified name and country, and one-way codes used to detect duplicate accounts.
It says I already have an account. Tap Use my existing account to move this sign-in method onto your original account. If that doesn't work, contact support.
I paid but the machine didn't start. Your money is safe: a wash credit is waiting on Home. Scan any free washer at the same laundromat business and it starts without another payment.
Do I have to type my name every time I pay? No. Your verified name and email are filled in on the payment page. Save your mobile number in Account → Mobile number and that's filled in too. GCash or Maya may still ask you to log in to approve.
Do I need the app to pay for a machine? No. Scan the machine's QR code with your phone's camera and tap Pay in your browser on wash.iotomates.com. Sign in, verify once if you're new, pay, then tap Start wash (or Start dry) on the same page. The app is faster next time.
Can I get a refund? Ask the laundromat: message them in the app (Home → the laundromat → Message) or ask an attendant. Only the owner can refund. A refund goes back to how you paid (GCash/Maya usually within days, cards up to 2 weeks); you get a notification, the refunded loads' unused washes/dries are cancelled, and the points they earned are taken back.
It says "Test payment: no real money". What does that mean? That laundromat is still testing iOtomates Wash (Beta). Nothing is charged: on the payment page, use PayMongo's test options (for example the test GCash button) or, where checkout is by Stripe, the test card 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any future date and any CVC. Points and loads from test payments are for testing only.
How do I find a laundromat near me? On Home, tap Laundromats near you (or Find a laundromat on wash.iotomates.com). Allow location to see the nearest ones on a map with free washers and dryers right now, and tap Directions.
Can I see how long my wash has left? Yes. Once it starts, the time left shows on your iPhone's Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, or in a notification on Android, even if iOtomates Wash is closed, and you're notified when it's done. iPhone: Settings → iOtomates Wash → Live Activities must be on (with iOtomates Wash closed, the countdown starts by itself on iOS 17.2 or later).
Is there an iOtomates Wash widget? Yes: add it from your Home Screen's widget list (iPhone: also on the Lock Screen). It shows free machines at your laundromat, your points, what's paid, and when your machine will be done.
Can I pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay? At Philippine laundromats you pay on PayMongo's page with GCash, Maya, QR Ph or card. Google Pay and Apple Pay aren't available there yet; we'll add them when our payment provider turns them on. At laundromats that use card payments through Stripe (for example in the US), Apple Pay and Google Pay appear on the payment page automatically.
Can I message the laundromat? Yes: open the laundromat's page (from Home or Laundromats near you) and tap Message. Its staff reply in iOtomates Wash and you get a notification. Your conversations are under Home → Messages. Laundromats you've used can also post announcements ("Closed Monday"), which appear on Home. When your wash or dry is done, the update arrives in your chat with that laundromat; tap the notification and answer with one tap (I'm on my way, I'll pick it up later, Thank you!). To report a message, touch and hold it to select it, then tap Report.
Can I delete notifications and messages? Yes, in the app and on wash.iotomates.com. Swipe a notification, conversation or message to the left to delete it; touch and hold to select several, then tap Delete; or tap Delete all. Notifications are deleted for good. Messages are deleted from your view only: the laundromat keeps its copy.
Does iOtomates Wash work with Siri? Yes: "How long is left on my laundry in iOtomates Wash?", "How many washers are free at iOtomates Wash?", "Show my iOtomates Wash member code", "Scan a machine in iOtomates Wash". On Android, touch and hold the iOtomates Wash icon for quick actions.
Can I put my iOtomates Wash card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet? Yes: Account → Add to Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Save to Google Wallet (Android), also on wash.iotomates.com → Account. The points on the card update by themselves when you earn or use points. It shows your member code as a QR for the counter, your points and your laundromat. Add it again to refresh the points.
What's the round sticker next to the QR? An NFC sticker. Touch it with your unlocked phone and iOtomates Wash opens on that machine (iPhone: or tap Tap NFC sticker on Scan). If a sticker doesn't open iOtomates Wash, scan the QR instead and tell the staff.
Will the machine start by itself after I pay? No. For safety, a machine only starts when you start it: tap Start wash or Start dry on Home (iOtomates Wash asks you to check that your laundry is inside and the door is closed), or press Start on the machine.
Can I just wash, or just dry? Yes, where the laundromat offers it. Choose Wash only or Dry only in Start laundry, or when you scan a washer. Scanning a dryer with nothing saved gives you a dry-only load. Prices are on the laundromat's page. A wash-only load works only on washers and a dry-only load only on dryers, because their prices differ: scanning a dryer when you only have washes paid first asks "You already paid for a washer. Are you sure you want to use this dryer?" Tap Back if you meant a washer; Yes, use dryer asks you to pay for a dry, and your paid washes stay saved.
How do I dry my clothes? Every wash + dry load includes a dry. When your wash finishes, scan any free dryer at the same business. Home shows "Your dry is paid" with a Scan a dryer button.
I have lots of laundry. Do I pay for each washer? No. After you scan the first washer, choose how many loads (up to 5) and pay once. That washer starts; your other washes and all your dries are saved in your wallet. Scan each free washer or dryer and it starts with no payment.
How long do credits last? 30 days from purchase.
How do points work? Usually 10 points per paid load, plus a 10-point welcome bonus on your first paid visit to each business. 100 points = a free wash + dry. Each business can set its own numbers; Home shows them.
Do new members get a free wash? At laundromats that offer a welcome load, yes: if you verified in the last 30 days and haven't done laundry on iOtomates Wash yet, your first wash + dry there is free. One per person across iOtomates Wash.
Do I verify again at a different laundromat? No. You verify once, and your account works at every iOtomates Wash laundromat.
Can I use points at a different laundromat? Only at branches of the same business where you earned them. Points from different businesses are kept separate.
Do points expire? Yes, 12 months after you earn them.
Can I get a receipt? Yes. Every paid visit has one in Account → Receipts (and on wash.iotomates.com → Account). Share it, print it or save it as a PDF. It isn't a BIR official receipt; ask the laundromat if you need one.
Can I pay cash? At the counter, yes: hand the cash to the attendant, who records it in iOtomates Wash and gives you your change before assigning your machines. Self-service (scanning a machine yourself) takes GCash, Maya, QR Ph and cards in the Philippines, and cards elsewhere.
Why won't the app open without internet? iOtomates Wash needs a live connection to take payments and start machines. Connect to Wi-Fi or mobile data and it unlocks automatically. Machines already running aren't affected.
How do I delete my account? Account → Delete account. Unused points and credits are forfeited.
Why does iOtomates Wash ask me to update? When a new version fixes something important, iOtomates Wash shows "Update available", or "Update required" for older versions that can't be used any more. Tap Update (App Store, Google Play or TestFlight). Turning on automatic updates on your phone keeps you current without asking.
For laundromat owners (Super Admins)
Can I run a carwash or motorcycle wash on iOtomates Wash? Yes. When you create your business, choose what it offers: Laundromat, Carwash (self-service bays and/or full service), Motorcycle wash (self-service bays), or all of the above; change it any time in Business → Setup → What you offer. Self-service bays are priced per block of minutes (Setup → Self-service wash bays) and added in iOtomates Wash HQ like machines; full service uses a menu priced by vehicle size (Setup → Full-service menu).
How much does iOtomates Wash cost? Free to download and set up, with no subscription. iOtomates Wash takes a commission on each payment it processes (shown in Business → Setup). Payment-processor fees apply. Free loads redeemed with points carry no commission.
What hardware do I need? One iOtomates Wash controller box per 4 coin-operated machines, plus a current sensor per machine: roughly ₱1,500–3,000 per machine in parts, bought ready-made or built yourself. iOtomates Wash HQ's Hardware page and the Hardware Guide list the parts and show how to wire them. Your machines keep accepting coins.
Can I try iOtomates Wash before installing anything? Yes. Every business starts in Beta: payments use test money, nothing is charged or paid out, and you can delete the test data any time. Open iOtomates Wash HQ on a computer, add a location with simulated washers and dryers, and scan their QR codes with the iOtomates Wash app.
Can I use iOtomates Wash HQ on my laptop, tablet or phone too? Yes, one device at a time. Make your shop PC the main device. On another device, open wash.iotomates.com/hq, tap Use this device and sign in again; the PC pauses. Tap Stop using this device (or close it) and the PC takes over again within about a minute, carrying on where the other device left off.
How do I start taking real payments? Business → Setup → switch Beta testing off. You need your payout account set up and at least one real machine connected with an iOtomates Wash controller. Going live deletes your beta data.
Can I change the commission? No. Only iOtomates Wash sets the commission rate, and you'll get at least 30 days' notice of any increase. Each transaction uses the rate in effect when it was made.
When do I get paid? iOtomates Wash pays you automatically once a day (around 2:00 a.m. Manila time): the day's sales minus iOtomates Wash's commission, the payment processor's fees, and a ₱10 transfer fee in the Philippines. In the Philippines it goes to your GCash, Maya or bank account (in your verified name); elsewhere, to your Stripe account.
How do I add staff? They install iOtomates Wash and verify their identity, then give you their member code. Enter it in Business → Staff.
Can a staff member work at more than one branch? Yes: assign them to any number of branches, or to all of them. Change it anytime.
Can I see who my customers are? You see display names, masked emails, points, visits, spend and usage times for people who use your laundromats. You don't see their ID or legal name.
Which reports can I get? Daily, weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual sales, with CSV export; cash taken per attendant and branch; and expenses with profit (Business → Expenses).
How do I pay iOtomates Wash's commission on cash sales? It comes off your next payout of GCash, Maya and card sales. If you take mostly cash, pay it in Business → Sales → Commission on cash sales → Pay (GCash, Maya or card). If any of it is 30 days unpaid, recording cash pauses until it's paid; we remind you 7 days before.
Can iOtomates Wash send me a morning summary? Yes. At 7 AM (your business's time zone) every Super Admin gets one notification: yesterday's sales and orders (after refunds), machines showing an error or offline, and supplies running low. A day with nothing to report sends nothing. Turn it off in Business → Setup → Daily summary.
Will my laundromat show up on Google? Yes, once your business is live (not in beta). wash.iotomates.com makes a public page for each branch with its name, address, map pin, prices, how many washers and dryers, contact phone and email, and how to pay, so search engines can list it. It's updated every few hours from what you set in Business → Setup. A closed branch's page is removed.
How do attendants close a shift? Work → Intake → Count my cash and close my shift: they count the cash they took and enter it, without seeing what iOtomates Wash expects. iOtomates Wash shows the difference, and Super Admins are told about any shortfall (Business → Sales → Shift counts).
Can iOtomates Wash remind us about detergent and machine cleaning? Yes. Work → Supplies: list each branch's supplies with a "low at" level (and, if you like, how much a wash or dry uses); staff record restocks, and everyone is reminded when one runs low. Work → Maintenance: routine tasks (lint filter every 10 dryer cycles, drum and door seal weekly, hoses and vents monthly, or your own); staff tap Done, log repairs, and get a morning reminder when something's due. Each machine keeps its history.
Can my attendants take cash? Yes, at the counter: Work → Intake, type the weight, choose Wash & dry, Wash only or Dry only, tap Cash (or Charge, then Paying cash instead), enter what the customer handed over and tap Cash received. Only then can machines be assigned, so cash that isn't rung up can't run a machine. Tap a free washer; when its light is white, tap Start wash on it (walk-ins have no app). Later, Work → Intake → Paid, still to start brings the order back to pick its dryer (the dry is already paid). Business → Sales → Cash by person shows who took how much. Cash sales carry the same commission, deducted from your next payout.
Can I track my expenses? Yes: Business → Expenses. Log utilities, detergent, rent, repairs, wages and more; iOtomates Wash shows each period's expenses by category and your profit (net sales minus expenses).
What happens if the shop internet goes down? Devices on the shop's Wi-Fi lock until it's back, so keep reliable Wi-Fi, ideally with a mobile-data backup. Customers whose phones are on mobile data can still pay: machines whose controller file has Bluetooth keys (downloaded from iOtomates Wash HQ since October 24, 2026) stay available, and the customer's app sends the paid credit and Start to the machine over Bluetooth. iOtomates Wash is paid first, the code works once on that machine only, and the controller reports it as soon as the internet is back. Older controller files: the machine shows red until the internet returns.
The app says "Send by Bluetooth". What do I do? The laundromat's internet is down. Stand next to the machine you paid for, turn on Bluetooth, and tap Send by Bluetooth. When it says the credit is in, load your laundry, close the door, and tap Start (or press Start on the machine). If it can't find the machine, step closer and try again. If the machine never gets your credit, you get it back once the machine is online again.
For attendants
How do I ring up a full-service car wash? Work → Carwash: choose the vehicle size and the service, add the plate number (optional) and the customer's member code (optional), then tap Charge (payment QR) or Cash. The car joins Cars: choose the bay (a motorcycle bay for a motorcycle, a car bay for a sedan, SUV or van/pickup; busy bays can't be chosen), tap Start washing, then Done (the customer is told their car is ready, and the bay is free again), then Picked up.
Do I need a separate staff account? No. Your one personal iOtomates Wash account gets staff access when your employer adds you. If you leave the job, your customer account stays yours.
A machine is red. What do I do? Read the reason on the card, check the machine, then tap Clear error. See the Moderator Handbook.
Can I ring up my own laundry? No. Ask another attendant, or use self-service scan like any customer.
How do I contact iOtomates Wash? In the app: Account → Contact us. Or email support@geerho.com, or call or text (619) 796-1115. Include your member code (Account) so we can find your account. We will never ask for your password or sign-in codes.
Who runs iOtomates Wash? iOtomates Wash (formerly Klean) is a business owned and operated by Geerho Tech LLC, a software company. Address: 2108 N St, Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816, USA. Email support@geerho.com, or call or text (619) 796-1115.
What happens if my laundromat closes on iOtomates Wash? Its points and free loads end, and you can't scan its machines any more. A laundromat can only close after every customer's paid loads there are used or refunded, so you never lose a load you paid for.
How does iOtomates Wash know how many loads I need? Weigh your laundry on the laundromat's scale and enter the kilos in Start laundry. Each load is up to the laundromat's limit (usually 8 kg), so 9 kg is 2 loads. Pay once, then scan a washer for each load and a dryer for each dry.
What is the iOtomates Wash Scale? Some laundromats have an iOtomates Wash Scale: it sends the weight straight to iOtomates Wash. Put your laundry on it, wait for the number to settle, then in Start laundry tap Use the iOtomates Wash Scale and the kilos fill in by themselves. Each weighing can be used once, within 2 minutes. Some laundromats require it, so typing a weight isn't possible there.
